We arrived at the Prince William Forest RV Campground in Dumfries, VA on Monday and started our stay by visiting with my cousin and his family in Fairfax. It was great seeing them, spending time revisiting memories and we were treated to a wonderful home cooked meal as well. Yesterday we spent the day touring the battlefields of Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville, VA. Both nice parks but not as well preserved as Gettysburg. We decided to take today off and do some hiking in this beautiful forest where we're camping rather than heading into DC as we originally planned. We took one long hike and a couple of smaller ones where we saw some great scenery and Stella got plenty of exercise as well. We decided we'll visit DC another time. The weather forecast is for gorgeous weather in the 80's over the next several days so tomorrow we're off to Ivor, VA where we'll spend a few days of R&R by a beautiful pool at White Tail Resort. Can't wait!! Ed

I have drawn up a list of places you MUST go - can I send them to your eddieboy gmail account? don't want to post it all since I don't know if you don't want the kids to see the places!
