Our fifth year on the road... 6/2018 - 9/2018
-- The Year of Indy, Missouri, OKC & Texas --
Although our fifth year on the road lasted only a little more than three months, we made some exciting stops along the way.  We revisited and completed the 444 mile long Natchez Trace and took some time to explore Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky on our trip back to Massachusetts.  Once back in Massachusetts we spent six weeks enjoying some quality time with our families.  On our return trip to Texas we decided to spend some time in several cities and a couple of states we hadn’t been to before.  We enjoyed some great sightseeing in Indianapolis, St. Louis, Hannibal, Branson, Oklahoma City, Dallas and Fort Worth.   Along the way we also stopped to spend several days visiting friends on the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri and at the summer home of some friends just outside Austin, Texas.  We planned 2018 as an abbreviated travel year and thoroughly enjoyed it but we’re excited about our plans for 2019 when we’ll be returning to a more normal travel schedule of six to seven months.
