Our third year on the road... 10/2015 - 8/2016
-- The Year of the Mobile Home --

Our third year on the road was eventful in many ways but our traveling was limited. We began our year by leaving Massachusetts and then meeting up with family for a visit to Disney followed by the return to our winter home at Sandpipers Resort in Edinburg, Texas. While there, we made the decision to purchase a mobile home in the park, giving us the opportunity to spend our winters in a beautiful new home and saving the RV for our road trips. We also broke our normal travel routine this summer. With the exception of a beautiful trip along the Natchez Trace, we headed straight back to Massachusetts in order to attend our niece’s wedding. In addition to visits with family and friends we spent our time emptying our storage unit and shipping our personal belongings to our new winter home in Texas. Because of this, we returned to Texas a few months early this year in order to unload the pod containing those belongings. Beginning in 2017, our web site will reflect our travels beginning and ending in Texas, our new winter home while they previously began and ended in Massachusetts.
